Graduate Quantity Surveyor
We are recruiting for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join a major projects team in Plymouth, working on an eagerly awaited vast infrastructure scheme.
With an impressive portfolio of delivering some of the UK’s most important infrastructure projects, this client is offering the opportunity to work on a large civil engineering scheme, local to Plymouth. This project will be complex with a lengthy programme of works over many years and working to NEC4 form of contract.

The role:
As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will assist with the management of commercial resources of works to ensure maximum profit, assess and review sub-contractors, ensuring and reviewing contractual risk, along with contract administration and invoicing.

The person:
Ideally you will have completed a construction related degree or have completed an HNC in construction. You will demonstrate a willingness learn, be self-motivated, organised and committed to hard work. Good IT skills will be a must including MS office and Excel.

The role will be subject to being able to get full security clearance and a full UK driving license is required, you will need to be in receipt of a NATO country passport to gain security clearance.
