With clients based in London, Paris, Madrid, New York and San Francisco, our specialist and high-end client based in the heart of Cheltenham have ambitious growth plans and are currently looking for Search Consultants to expand their close knit, dynamic and dedicated team on full time permanent basis.

As an entry level search consultant you will be provided with top quality training and a tailored induction program where you will be trained on the executive search sector, the specific market related to the firm and also how to engage with external clients and candidates of all levels. You will then work closely with one of the Directors to support the team by generating new candidates within their specialist markets. After focusing exclusively on the candidate space for 6-9 months you will then be promoted to a full consulting role where you will be responsible for your own business and clients.

The role also involves monthly trips to London to meet with candidates and take part in pitches to prospective clients.

Alongside the growth of the company they have impressive career paths in which someone could take, such as working your way up to a Principal Consultant or becoming a Manager / Teamleader as the company expands.

Key Responsibilities:

-Source relevant candidates using the candidate system, existing relationships and LinkedIn

-Map out target and relevant organisations across the chosen market verticals

-Market candidates effectively to the rest of the team

-Qualify candidates, understand their motivations and suitability for existing and future assignments

-Build a pool of Investment Banking & Private Equity candidates globally

-Generate leads and potential new business through lead generation (candidates, job boards etc)

-Meet with candidates face to face

Candidate Attributes:

-Have a positive attitude with a strong desire to succeed

-A high degree of professionalism with the ability to talk to a range of people at a high level

-Ability to get stuck in and eager to learn

-Excellent communication and organisational skills

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm

Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 depending on experience + commission (OTE of around £35,000 in first year and £80,000 in years 2 and 3) + an excellent tailored training program
