Highly thought of and growing power systems consultancy, with a friendly, supportive working environment and under superb leadership, requires someone recently qualified in an Electrical Engineering discipline as a Graduate HV Engineer / Graduate Power Systems Engineer.

As a business, they provide power systems studies, analysis and modelling, HV and earthing design support to their clients, mainly in the renewable energy sector.

With a great team of industry experts eager to share their knowledge, it’s the perfect environment for an aspiring Power Systems Engineer to develop the skills for a successful career in the sector.

Through working on a range of interesting projects, the Graduate Power Systems Engineer will gain experience in a number of areas, such as:

* Power systems analysis – modelling, fault level studies, load flow, quality of supply and harmonics

* HV protection design and settings

* Equipment specification

* Earthing and lightning protection

* Using industry software

* Preparing reports and proposals

We’re keen to hear from confident, ambitious and proactive individuals with a degree / MEng / MSc (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or related discipline, where modules studied have had a focus on high voltage (HV) engineering.
